Dr. Ken Carter is a University of Georgia graduate who earned his doctorate in medicine from the Medical College of Georgia.  He served his pediatric internship and residence in Pensacola, Florida and received a fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine with the Pensacola Educational Program.  In 1984 Dr. Carter became an active staff member of Clinical Practice of Neonatology at the Neonatal Intensive Care (Level III) Nursery at Sacred Heart Health Systems.  He served as staff neonatologist and on the clinical teaching faculty of the University of Florida and as Director of the Intensive Care Nursery.  He returned to Georgia in 2000, and joined Cumming Pediatric Group in 2001.  Dr. Carter is married and has two children.
